From The President

Milwaukee Area Technical College is one of our community’s key resources for individuals and businesses.
For more than 90 years, MATC has provided the education, skills training and lifelong learning opportunities that have advanced careers and helped to grow the local economy.
Whether your goal is to begin a career, advance in a current career, stay ahead of technology demands, transfer to a four-year college, or gain new knowledge to grow personally, MATC is here for you and your specific learning needs.
We offer thousands of individual classes and more than 170 occupational programs. Plus, if your goal is a baccalaureate degree, MATC’s many four-year college transfer options make us the best place to begin your higher education.
MATC graduates are in demand and are the area’s resource for new employees. Many of our current students are also an important part of the current workforce - employees getting retrained to keep their edge in the workplace.
Overwhelmingly, MATC graduates live and work in southeastern Wisconsin, succeeding in their careers and adding strength to our local economy. If you live and work in the Milwaukee area, it’s likely you work with or had a vital service performed by an MATC graduate.
I invite you to browse this website and get to know MATC. We’re here to help you reach your personal and professional goals.
